Champagne Jello Shots To Ring In The New Year!
What better way to celebrate the New Year with a sophisticated jello shot? To add a little oomph make them with some bubbly champagne and top with sprinkles or edible glitter.
- boiling water
- unflavored gelatin
- optional: sparkling grape juice, sparkling cider, sprite or ginger ale
- optional: sprinkles
Boil water and pour 3/4 cup into a bowl. Sprinkle two envelopes of unflavored gelatin over the water.
Once mixture has cooled a little, pour 2 1/2 cup of cold champagne over gelatin mixture. If you prefer your jello shots to be a little sweet, then combine some ginger ale, sprite, or any sparkling sweet drink with the cold champagne to make the 2 ½ cups.
Make sure to mix any gelatin that has stuck together. Pour into a small square baking dish lined with wax paper or aluminum foil. Place in fridge.
Once firm, cut jello into squares and place on a serving dish. If you like, sprinkle some pretty sprinkles on top. That’s it, you’re done!
