Get Organized For Back to School

Back-to-school time can be exciting, but stressful. With lists of school supplies and new clothes, it’s easy to become overwhelmed. Here are three organizational tips to make prepping for the first day of school a breeze. And the best part is that the shopping can be done online!

Labels. Labels. Labels.

If the key to real estate is location, then the key to organization is labels. From books, pens, and other supplies to backpacks and lunch boxes, kids lose things. Get into the practice of labeling their items before school starts or at the beginning of a new semester. This will help them avoid mixing up their belongings with other children at school and make it easier for their lost items to be returned.

Mabels Labels have great labels that are dishwasher and microwave safe, plus waterproof.

TIP: Assign one color or specific style of label to each child to avoid confusion with children in the same household.

Backpacks and Snacks

If there are two items your kids will use the entire year it’s their backpack and lunchbox. Because of this, you want to make sure the ones you buy are sturdy and easy to clean. This way, you make one purchase at the start of the school year and you’re done until next year.

Beatrix Backpack and Lunchbox offers eco-friendly packs and lunchboxes to hold everything your child will need throughout their busy day.

TIP: Pretzel Crisps® are a healthy snack option.

Everything In Its Place

You’ve purchased everything off your child’s school supply list (and then some), but now what?

Sistema makes storage containers in a variety of sizes and shapes. They’re microwaveable and BPA-Free.

TIP: Label your containers to always remember which are used for supplies and which are for food.

I love the pretzel crisps. However, the bags we buy are full of pieces of chips–not too many whole ones. I don’t know if it is because of how they are handled at the store where we buy them, or the packaging. Perhaps they could be packaged like crackers, in sleeves, so there would be more whole ones. For consumption at home, that is fine. For using them to serve at a party with a topping, it is a problem! Thanks for a tasty product. I think I am becoming addicted to them! LOL
