With all of the calorie heavy and preservative-filled food options in the grocery store today, it’s tough to eat the things we crave while still staying fit.

Luckily, there are plenty of ways to switch up your favorite eats using lighter and/or healthier ingredients. Here is a collection of drool-worthy tweaks and alternatives:

1. Now that we know soda is linked to obesity, it’s a good idea to keep the intake down to a minimum. You can easily create your own flavored soda at home. Less sugar, no chemicals. Fruit soda
