Super Juice

I don’t know about you, but I struggle during the summer to find motivation some days.  I think it’s the heat.  Or just the idea that it’s summer time and summer is for taking it easy, right?Super-Juice_thumbnail

So what do you do when motivation and energy are lacking?  I have found that one of the best ways to get back into the swing of things is by drinking a big glass of this Super Juice.  Not only is it all natural, but it is pretty easy to throw together, and it gives you all the energy you need to get through another hot afternoon.  It’s also a pretty great way to start your day, too.  I love that it’s full of great summer fruit.

If you have a juicer, feel free to juice your own carrots, but most major grocery stores will carry carrot juice.  It’s a great way to add some extra nutrients into a delicious drink!  This recipe isn’t very technical, so feel free to add and subtract what you like best.

 

Super Juice

Serves 2

One handful of fresh, cubed cantaloupe

One handful of fresh, cubed watermelon

Half of one apple, cored and cubed

Carrot juice

 

Add the cantaloupe, watermelon and apple to a blender.  Add enough carrot juice just to cover the fruit.  Blend until smooth.
